Admissions Policy

The Good Hope School seeks students with strong academic abilities and good characters who will bring to the school a broad range of backgrounds, talents, and interest. The Good Hope School is dedicated to serving academically qualified students from all over St. Croix who can contribute to and benefit from the School's programs. In making decisions, the admissions committee considers academic ability, school performance, developmental maturity, self motivation, talents, readiness for the programs, family support for the child and the institution, and ability of the School to serve the needs of the child and family. The Good Hope School gives consideration to the following applicant groups: children of faculty, staff, and alumni, siblings of current and former students, and students who will enhance and broaden the diversity of our student body. The admissions committee makes recommendations to the Head of School, who has the ultimate authority and sole discretion in the decision regarding whether or not to admit or re-enroll a student.

All information provided to The Good Hope School during the admission process is strictly confidential and becomes property of Good Hope, and is not available for any disclosure. The Good Hope School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions, financial assistance, educational, or other school policies. Every Good Hope student is admitted to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
