ANNIE is the story of a young orphan girl living in a New York City orphanage during the great depression. Her character is based on the comic strip "Little Orphan Annie" which first appeared in the Chicago Tribune in 1924. Annie has lots of adventures and is well known for her pluck, hard-working nature, and her sunny disposition. In this musical version of her relationship with Daddy Warbucks, she is definitely an inspiration to everyone she meets.
