Our Program: The Good Hope School 's Athletic Mission is to develop ' mens sana in corpore sano' (a sound mind in a sound body). We aim to build up scholar-athletes who commit to their teams, act with integrity, and compete with sportsmanship, character and pride.
Facilities include a fenced Lower School and Supervised Middle School play area. Our Campus Center houses a gymnasium, which serves as a basketball and volleyball court. There are two outdoor playing courts, a swimming pool, a pavilion that is often used for athletic activities, and a regulation soccer field. There is also a weight room for the use of our 7th - 12th grade students.
With the Falcon as our Mascot, our Physical Education and athletic programs provide opportunities for students to develop and coordinate their physical, mental, and emotional skills. A number of after-school interscholastic athletic opportunities develop these skills in a team environment under the direction of skilled coaches.
In concert with the students' athletic development, fair play, sportsmanship and character development are critical components of the Good Hope Athletic program.
The aim of the Good Hope School Athletic Department is to help students increase the number of activities for which they have acquired a level of competence.
Director of Athletics, Mr. Richard Carter, 340-772-0022 or rcarter.ghs@gmail.com
See our Sports Calendar for the most current game schedule. Practices for all teams are on Monday through Thursday. On game days, there is no practice for the team that is playing in the game.
