I am both honored and awed to be the head of The Good Hope School. It is an extraordinary school. We have a strong mission with a clear vision; and, we are served well by an excellent faculty and staff, governed by a dedicated board, and energized by its amazing students and parents. Hopefully, each of you has had that one teacher or mentor or coach or friend who made learning come alive for you; who was able to nurture your potential and create the environment in which information was cultivated, growing into a deep understanding of self. When we understand some thing or concept, but know that we can act on it, do something with it, and learn more about it, then we have experienced real learning. At Good Hope School we have the history and the commitment that brings together superb teachers, a purposeful curriculum, and the caring relationships that make for real learning.
