Parents
As
one of the fundamental beliefs of The Good Hope School,
we believe that it is in the best interest of each student
if parents work in partnership with the School. Many parents
volunteer their time and talents for school activities and
events.
Parents'
Organization
The
Parents' Organization (PO) plays an integral role in the
life of the Good Hope community by providing communication
among the parents, faculty, staff, and administration, and
by supporting the school. Regular meetings are scheduled
at convenient times for working parents.
Thank
you to all the Parents who contributed so generously to
our
Faculty Appreciation Brunch!
There were lots of treats and happy faculty.
We are grateful to our Faculty and Staff for their commitment
to our children.
We are grateful to you for supporting the Parents' Organization
another year!
Looking forward to a restful summer and a specatcular 2010/2011
school year in the Fall!

Contractor’s
Day
Contractor’s Day is a day when volunteers (parents,
faculty, and friends) come to the school and tackle projects
under the guidance of Contractors, who donate their expertise.
In the past we have renovated the back of the art/clay rooms
into the patio area, gave a face-lift to the after care room
and poolside locker rooms, and painted playground equipment.
We end the day with a swim and BBQ.
See
more pictures from our previous Contractor's Day! Thank
you all families who came out for Contractor's Day! It was
a very productive day; trees and shrubs were planted around
the lower school playground ( special thanks to Cruzan Gardens
) and a shelf was built in the band room for storage of steel
pans and other instruments. Thanks to Lisa Borden for once
again heading-up the day!
Faculty
Appreciation Brunch
Say a big “Thank You” to our wonderful faculty
and staff! The Parents' Organization has brunch made up of
different dishes prepared by parents in the faculty lounge.
We hope that everyone will be willing to prepare their favorite
dish to share! (second Wednesday of every other month)
Family
Fun Day
The Parents' Organization organizes a fun packed carnival
day on campus for all The Good Hope School families and friends.
Games, activities, rides, and refreshments make this a fun
day for everyone!
