The Good Hope School Performing Arts Department is presenting Rick Abbott's comic murder mystery "Play On," for three performances only. The show will run Thursday through Saturday, November 9 - 11 at 7 p.m. in the James C. Savage Theater for the Performing Arts on The Good Hope School campus. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission.

This play within a play takes you behind the scenes (literally) during the rehearsals, dress rehearsal, and opening night of a community theater production. The all Good Hope student cast of ten is directed by "Brownie" and portrays a cast of characters whose attempts to stage the play Murder Most Foul written by local author Phyllis Montague played by Stephanie Thompson. Montague's constant changes of the plot and script lead to continuous hilarious disasters and frustrate the authoritative community theater director, Gerry Dunbar played by Jesse Hunt.

The cast includes: Jesse Hunt as Gerry Dunbar / Director; Biko Joseph as Stage Manager; Joel Buckley as Stage Manager; Joel Buckley as Henry Benish / Lord Dudley; Kerstin Becker as Polly Benish / Lady Margaret; Julia Kimble as Marla "Smitty" / Doris the maid; Alex Taras as Saul Watson / Doctor Rex Forbes; Chris Bracy as Billy Carewe / Stephen Sellers; Rebecca Green as Wiolet Imbry / Diana Lassiter; Stephanie Thompson as Phyllis Montague/playwright; and Zach Rogers as Louis / Lighting Director.
