The Good Hope School Drama Department is presenting Oscar Wilde's classic romantic comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest," for three performances only, Thursday through Saturday, November 17-19 at 7:30pm in the James C. Savage Center for the Performing Arts on the Good Hope School Campus.

Considered Oscar Wilde's finest work, "Earnest" is a delightful showcase of his celebrated humor and sly wit. Satirizing the arrogance of the British upper classes, Wilde's masterpiece is filled with plot twists, whimsy, and the word play one expects from the brilliant (and notorious) Mr. Wilde. Showcasing the comedy talents of nine Good Hope Upper School students, "The Importance of Being Earnest" is one of the best-loved plays in the English language.
